EMV, or Earned Media Value, is a metric that provides an estimate of the “media value equivalent” or “advertising equivalent”, which serves as an indicator of the effectiveness of PR activities or influencer campaigns.
To calculate it, coefficients are applied to each performance metric of a piece of content on social media.
Influence4You provides its clients with an EMV based on and inspired by Ayzenberg’s generic standard indices, which we have enhanced and adapted to include new platforms and to better reflect today’s market.
The coefficients can be consulted and adjusted in the campaign report settings of each Project by clicking on the “Settings” link.
